The audience was treated to a slide show, a music performance and a book signing. John is a biologist, photographer, writer and the Nature Nut — an entertainer and naturalist on the Discovery Channel, local television, and radio. He has published several books on insects and birds of Alberta and other regions of Canada. John has an educational background in entomology and paleontology.
