An Evening of Chemistry and Coffee presented by Science Outreach - Athabasca. Dietmar Kennepohl is Professor of Chemistry and Associate Vice-President, Academic at Athabasca University. During the evening you will learn more about one of the world’s favourite drinks, from its history and origin to ethical issues that affect the global community. We will look at some of the interesting and often surprising chemistry behind that simple cup of “jo”. Since Chemistry is an experimental science, the audience will also participate in coffee tastings. Enjoy!
