Night Sky

Night Sky in Athabasca was a big hit. We were hoping for about 60 people but close to 200 attended the presentation held at Athabasca's Landing Trail Intermediate School. Drew Yeo gave an illustrated talk on the solar system. Then he took three groups of 30-40 people into an inflated igloo-shaped planetarium for a look at various constellations. Science Outreach - Athabasca brought Odyssium's traveling exhibit from Edmonton to Athabasca.
While the children were waiting their turn in the planetarium, they made their own star finding guides.
